Shawn gently picked her and carried her into the house and into her room. "Night hon." he said softly before he went back downstairs.

Becca was pulling her hair into a ponytail to get ready for bed when she heard Shawn coming down the stairs. "I was just about to head up to bed," Becca said. "Join me?"

A hour later and Jay woke to Adam standing beside him trying towake him "Addy whats going now?" he asked sleeply.

Jay slowly nodded "OK." he said, he hoped their mom was ok but he was worried about what their dad would do when they came home. He grabbed his jacket and their bag "Ready." he said softly.

Jay nodded and they quietly went down the stairs and out the door. As they walked back home Jay asked "How mad do you think dad will be?"

A few hours later the phone rang and Shawn answered it "Hello."

It was Adam and Jay's mother. There father hadn't been asleep when they got home, he'd been awake waiting for them. This time he'd done enough damage to put both boys in the hospital. She told Shawn that Jay had been asking for Angel, and asked if he and Becca could bring her down to see him.

"They left and went home but their father was up and waiting for them, he hurt them both so bad they had to go to the hospital." said Shawn softly.

"Oh Jay....." Angel sighed softly. She got up and grabbed some clothes ans changed quickly before pulling on her boots.

Shawn went down stairs and started the car, he sighed as Angel hurried out of the house and they left. They soon arrived at the hospital.

Angel ran to the front desk and looked up when she heard Jay's mother calling to them from the doorway of a room. She ran up to her and walked into the room. "Jay?" Angel called softly, afraid to startle him.
